Day 3 – Initial Recap

The final day of Buckle and Boots raised the bar again with many amazing performances throughout the day.

We spent a lot of time running between both stages trying to catch as many acts as possible whilst also putting some more faces to names, meeting up with acts we’ve spoken to before but never met.

Unfortunately, in the afternoon, the rain decided that it was here to stay but it didn’t stop everyone from enjoying the wonderful selection of music on offer.

Some of our highlights: Liv Austen nearly blew the roof off the acoustic tent with a magical set that had the audience captivated and singing along; the songwriters’ round with Luke & Mel, Darren from The Southern Companion and Thorne Hill was a big friendly jam session with the artists sharing their songs and pitching in with guitar solos and backing vocals on others; and Phil Vassar… well what can we say? He was a true showman and completely brought the house down.

Bring on Buckle and Boots 2017!
